SURRENDER INFORMATION |
Thank you for contacting the Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc. regarding our surrender policies and requirements. WE ARE THE BEST, and do our very best to rescue as many dogs as we can. We do, however, have space and resource limitations, financial constraints, and other variables to contend with, which can sometimes affect our ability to help every dog in need. If we cannot help with your dog, we will network with other Rescues to try and find the safest place possible for him/her. PLEASE BEWARE OF LISTING YOUR PET ON CRAIG'S LIST AND PLEASE READ THE SEPARATE POSTING WE WILL SEND.
We do ask for minimum surrender fee of $100 per dog, which only partially helps us cover our expenses. If that presents a hardship for you, please feel free to discuss it with us.
Also, do remember that ODR, Inc. is a breed-specific rescue. We will only accept Dachshunds and Dachshund mixes. (If you have another breed, there are other rescue groups that will be happy to find a home for your dog.)
