We understand that surrendering a beloved pet is a difficult decision. If you are no longer able to care for your dog, Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc. is here to help.
To begin the process, please complete the Surrender Form using the button below. Once your information has been reviewed, a volunteer will contact you as soon as possible.
Our goal is to ensure every dog is placed in a safe, loving, and appropriate home, and we will do everything we can to find the best possible match for your dog.
DAY OF SURRENDER CHECKLIST:
Surrendering a pet is a difficult decision. We want to help you through the process to ensure you are making the best decision for you and your situation. In the steps below, we have outlined a checklist of requirements for you when you decide to surrender your dog.

Recently bathed, with nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and grooming completed (if applicable)

Collar and leash

Vet records and a one month supply of current medications

Favorite toys and blankets.

Current food and treats

Wire crate or kennel

Surrender fee of $100 (unless other arranged)
